At Wildspace Safaris, we offer more than just a trip—we create unforgettable experiences that allow you to make a lasting impact through ecotourism. Join us in preserving nature, supporting local communities, and discovering the rich cultural heritage of the Maasai people.
Get hands-on in restoring the land and its ecosystems with guidance from experts and Enarau Conservancy. This unique opportunity takes you to their field sites in Enarau Conservancy or the Maa Site near Talek, nestled between Olare Motorgi and Naibosho Conservancy.
Experience the joy of tree planting—offset your carbon footprint by planting a tree in your name as a permanent reminder of your visit. Explore indigenous biodiversity in our tree nursery, where you’ll engage in nursery management activities such as soil mixing, potting, and transplanting seedlings.
Additionally, try your hand at seedball throwing—an innovative technique for landscape restoration that requires minimal management and helps restore woodlands and grasslands.

Join Maasai women in their traditional beading craft—an art passed down through generations. Through this immersive experience, you’ll not only learn the intricacies of beadwork but also hear captivating stories about Maasai life, from cattle herding to family traditions.
This activity, in partnership with the Maa Trust, helps empower local women by providing a source of income while preserving a vital aspect of Maasai culture.

Be part of critical wildlife conservation efforts in the Mara. Join the Mara Elephant Project to help conserve elephants, combat poaching, and track their movements through GPS collaring. If you’re lucky, you may even witness an elephant collaring or help treat a wounded elephant during an emergency response.
Additionally, participate in biodiversity monitoring. You’ll take part in surveys for vegetation, invertebrates, herpetofauna, birds, and mammals. Fieldwork will require binoculars and appropriate footwear, so be prepared for a hands-on adventure in nature.
Enhance your fitness and cultural knowledge with a Maasai herding experience. Learn how to guide cattle across the Mara landscape, while observing wildlife and mastering the skills of herding—such as using a whistle and throwing a rungu. You’ll also discover the local flora and gain insights into Maasai survival techniques.
The herding activity takes place early in the morning or in the evening, avoiding the intense midday sun.
Ever wondered about your future? Meet a Maasai loibon—a spiritual leader with the ability to foresee the future and offer blessings. Traditionally, the loibon presides over important ceremonies and guides the community with spiritual wisdom. Book an appointment for a unique experience that includes blessings and predictions that could positively impact your life.
Immerse yourself in the heart of Maasai heritage with a visit to a traditional Manyatta (village). Engage with Maasai warriors, experience ancient rituals, and explore timeless traditions that have been passed down through generations. Discover their deep connection to nature, cattle, and spirituality, and enjoy authentic Maasai cuisine, crafts, and dances.
This is more than a visit—it’s a powerful journey into the core of Maasai culture, where every moment tells a story of pride, strength, and tradition.
